The place
El Taj is two condo buildings in the heart of Playa del Carmen. El Taj Oceanfront sits right on the beach, and El Taj Beachside is just steps away in a quiet tropical garden.
You can walk to 5th Avenue and its restaurants, cafés and shops in about 5 minutes, and the Cozumel ferry is about 15 minutes away on foot. When family flies in, Cancún airport is about 55 km away, or roughly 45 to 50 minutes by car.
